The KB Seafood Co team travelled to Barcelona for the world’s largest seafood event, bringing back global insights to elevate Australia’s foodservice offerings.

A Proud Moment: Blue Wave Nominated for an MSC Award

One of the year's standout moments was Blue Wave’s nomination for a Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) Award.

Each year, the MSC recognises organisations making a real impact in protecting our oceans and ensuring future generations can enjoy sustainable seafood. Being nominated placed Blue Wave among leading contributors to ocean stewardship across Australia. A recognition we are genuinely proud of.

Blue Wave is Australia’s first foodservice brand to offer a fully sustainable range of crumbed and battered seafood. Our range includes:

• 8 MSC-certified products
• 1 ASC-certified products

This nomination reflects our commitment to responsible sourcing, ongoing improvement, and supporting foodservice professionals – pubs, clubs, restaurants, and local fish & chip shops – to put sustainability on the menu.
