Crumbed Prawn Tacos with Zesty Slaw
These Crumbed Prawn Tacos are vibrant and full of flavor, combining the crunch of the prawns with the freshness of the zesty slaw. Perfect for casual dining or a trendy taco night at a venue!
- 6 Blue Wave Crumbed Stretched Prawns
- 3 Soft corn or flour tortillas
- 20g Shredded red cabbage
- 20g Shredded green cabbage
- 15g Julienned carrots
- Fresh coriander
- Lime zest to taste
- 20g Sour cream or Greek yoghurt
- 3 tablespoons Lime juice
- Lime zest to taste
- Honey to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
Optional Garnishes:
- Sliced avocado
- Pickled red onions
- Fresh jalapenos
- Lime wedges
Step 1: Cook the Prawns
Prepare the Crumbed Prawns in the oven or air fryer until golden and crispy.
Step 2: Prepare the Zesty Slaw
In a bowl, combine shredded cabbage, and carrots. Add chopped coriander and lime zest.
Step 3: Make the Creamy Lime Dressing
Whisk together sour cream, lime juice, lime zest, honey, salt, and pepper. Toss the slaw in the dressing until well coated.
Step 4: Warm the Tortillas
Heat the tortillas in a dry pan or microwave until soft and pliable.
Step 5: Assemble the Tacos
Place a spoonful of slaw in the center of each tortilla, top with 2 Crumbed Prawns, and add optional garnishes like avocado slices, pickled onions, or jalapeños.
Step 6: Serve
Finish with a drizzle of more creamy lime dressing and a squeeze of fresh lime over the top.
Portion Size:
